FRANCESC CERD\u00c1 ALIBA\u00d1A<\/strong><\/h1><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

He was born in L'Olleria (Valencia) on May 27, 1960. He started music in the band of the Musical Society -Santa Cecilia' of his hometown, with the requinto as an instrument. Later he took up the clarinet in the same formation. percussion, keyboards and became its deputy director. as well as director of the young band (1989-931. The arrival of Liberto Benet as director of the band (1980) motivated his growth as a composer and he had his first success in the Hymn of Las Fiestas de L'Olleria. Later he dedicated himself with preference to music for the Moors and Christians festival.
After finishing his studies in Musical Teaching, he taught solfeggio and clarinet classes in different musical classes in Pedreguer, Bellus. l' 011eria, he was a Musical Education teacher in several schools in Catalonia between iggrt and 2002. In the 2002-2003 academic year he performed that role in his hometown
In 2004, the Francesc Cerd\u00e1 Festera Music Contest and Competition was created in l'011eria in recognition of his work for the music and festivities of his town.
He decided to continue his Composition studies at the \"Franz Liszt Academy of Music\" in Budapest (Hungary) with maestro Gyula Fekete, as well as being selected by the Hungarian Ministry of Education and by the \"Franz Liszt Academy of Music\" to pay homage to J\u00f3zsef S\u00e1ri; one of the most important living Hungarian composers.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has directed the Youth Band of the Ontinyent Musical Association, the Youth Band of the Alfarras\u00ed Musical Instruction, the Atzeneta de Albaida Musical Union, the group of Dol\u00e7aines and Tabales \"El Regall\" from Ontinyent with which he won 2nd Prize at the III Villa de Altea Dulzainas and Percussion Group Competition, the Musical Society \"San Francisco de Paula\" of Bolbaite with which he won 3rd Prize in the XXXIII Provincial Music Bands Contest, the Agres Musical Union, the Musical Union of Aielo de Malferit, the Uni\u00f3n Musical Santa Cecilia de Sedav\u00ed and the Uni\u00f3n Musical Benicadell de Castell\u00f3 de Rugat with which they won 1st Prize in the V Festival Music Competition in August and 3rd Prize in the X National Film Music Band Contest 'Cullera City'.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
